Famous Bass Guitar Players

Many people will have to agree to disagree when it comes to discussing who they think the best bass guitar players of all time are. Because there are so many talented performers that have graced us with their presence, it is impossible for everyone to have the same view on this matter.

Rob Bailey who is the former bass player for AC/DC is well known for his loud and awesome bass guitar sounds. He helped AC/DC become one of the biggest heavy metal bands in America’s history and is still very well know for his music.

Michael Balzary, A.K.A. ‘Flea’ form the Red Hot Chili Peppers rocks as a bass guitar player. His musical and composing work has been featured in a few films, but everyone will always fondly think of him as one of the greatest bass guitar players alive.

Joe Bouchard was a founding member and bass guitar player for the Blue oyster Cult. He started playing the bass for Blue Oyster Cult after the departure of Andy Winters and continued until doing so until 1986. Since then he has worked with several music projects in which he has shared his bass expertise.

These well known bass guitarists may bring up some great memories in that musical mind of yours as it becomes easy to see how many people have someone different in mind when they think of their favorite bass guitar players in the world.
