It sells for about 130 bucks at leading online musical instrument retailers. It's available in jewel blue, white, black night and apple candy red. Again don't let the price fool you into believing that this is a toy. It's not. I tried this guitar and was amazed by its sound. I've since read several positive reviews from many who've played this mini electric guitar.
The Ibanez GRGM21 GIO Mikro has a 22.2 in. scale, and features a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24 medium frets, alder body, dual Powersound humbucking pickups, and hardtail bridge. The only problem I have with this guitar is the lack of a tremolo bar. But otherwise, it's great. It's suitable for children as well as accomplished players looking for a small-sized guitar.

If you're looking for a beautiful guitar for a girl, the pink model is an option you may want to consider. The graphics should delight your young one and encourage her to play. Features include a small-scale neck, three single-coil electronic pickups, rosewood fretboard, hard-tail bridge, and master volume and tone controls. It cost about 150 bucks. Not my first choice but a pretty decent beginner's guitar for the price.
