Here's my review of the Dean Cadillac 1980 electric guitar. This guitar is a reproduction of the original Cadillac which many great legends have played. The question is how well does it live up to that? In this review I will attempt to answer this question.

First of all, let me say that I love this guitar. I like the way it feels in my hands, the way it sounds and its looks. If you want a kickass guitar on a budget, buy this guitar. It sells for as little as $499. There may be some quality issues with the electronics assembly, but a luthier can easily fix this and give you back a better than new electric guitar.

You may have to replace the strings on the Dean Cadillac. I don't like the 9's it comes with. You may want to try some 10's on this one. This is not a guitar for playing a bunch of clean stuff but add some distortion and beware.

Features of the Dean Cadillac 1980 electric guitar include reissue of a classic Dean design, pearl block inlay, 2 high-output gold covered humbucking pickups, grover rotomatic tuners, set-neck construction, fully bound Mahogany body and neck, Rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, 24-3/4" scale, 22 frets and a 3-way toggle. With all of its incredible features, for only 500 bucks, you shouldn't be disappointed. If you want a sweet ride, the Caddy is the way to go. I compared it to an Epiphone Explorer and when it comes to sound and quality this guitar blows it away.
