Dean Razorback V 255 Review

Dean Razorback V 255 Review

Here's my review of the Dean Razorback V 255 electric guitar.

This electric guitars sells for about 1200 dollars online and I think it's certainly worth it. There's no need to spend more for another electric guitar that doesn't come close to this one. I'm sure a lot of companies would charge more for a guitar like this. A hardcase is included for the price.

You can choose between explosion, silverburst, and black/yellow finishes. My personal favorite is explosion. This finish is absolutely stunning. If looks are important to you, check out the impressive v-shape, dangerous looking edges, and color-contrast bevels on the body of this beauty. The Dean V255 Razorback looks like a weapon and this is just what it is; it doesn't disappoint. :-)

Dean Razorback V255 Review

Dean Razorback V 255 Electric Guitar Features of the Dean v255 Razorback electric guitar include mahogany body, 25-1/2" scale, v-shape neck, strong set joint, 24 frets, rosewood fretboard, mahogany neck, locking tremolo, EMG-81 (active) bridge pickup, EMG-85 (active) neck pickup, 3-way pickup selector, grover tuners, volume and tone controls, and a polyester finish. Nut width is 1-5/8" and fretboard radius is 16.

Are you a metal player interested in a truly metal sound? Thanks to the EMG pickups on this Dean electric guitar, you won't be disappointed. With outstanding features like EMG's, a Floyd Rose

licensed tremolo, Dime Traction knobs and Grover Tuners, what more can you ask for?

I like the playability of this guitar. Although, if you're not used to playing with EMGs you may have a problem playing clean. But I guess with practice you're sure to get better.

The Dean Razorback V 255 electric guitar is also great for rhythm and blues. As a result of the EMG-85 in the neck position, you get a truly beefy low end and fatter top, as stated by the manufacturers.

An original Floyd rose would have been great but if you like you can always install one later.

With so many incredible features, you can't go wrong. It's worth every penny. Love it and recommend it!
