Dean Vendetta XM Review

Dean Vendetta XM Review

This is where I review the Dean Vendetta XM electric guitar. First of all what are the features of this one? They include a Paulownia sculpted body, open-coil humbuckers, string-thru body, tune-o-matic bridge, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fretboard, vintage Tremolo and dual humbucking pickups.

This guitar is an option to consider when you need a very cheap electric guitar. It only costs about $120. That's very cheap. So don't expect it to sound like a $1200 guitar. Usually, when it comes to musical instruments you get what you pay for. And such is the case with the Dean Vendetta XM electric guitar.

Dean Vendetta XM electric guitar If you're a beginner who is not to sure whether or not you will continue playing the electric guitar years down the road and you're simply looking to get your feet wet, then cheap models like this one can be considered. Later on, you can always go for a more expensive model. On the other hand, some people prefer a good quality guitar right from the start, so it's up to you.

Next in this Dean Vendetta XM review, what are your options as far as finishes are concerned? Well there's transparent black and natural satin. Not many options at all. I prefer the natural finish.

I found that this guitar lacked tone appeal and clarity of sound. While it looks okay, there is nothing professional about it. The frets are pretty crappy.

But then again, you're only paying $120 dollars. That's next to nothing. And as a beginner, there's probably nothing to worry about. For the price, you won't find too many guitars that are better than it.

While this isn't a guitar to go on tour with, or studio shining electric guitar, what the Dean Vendetta XM electric guitar does, it does well. Get a decent amp and you're on your way to learning to play or just having fun with this cheap Dean electric guitar.
