My son is 9 years old what is the appropriate size electric guitar for him, he is on the smaller size for a 9 year old?

A 3/4 SIZE WOULD PROBLEY FIT BEST,TRY LIGHT GAUGE STRINGS (9) xtra lights ARE GOOD FOR JUST STARTING OUT & DONT WORRY ABOUT THE FINGER BLISTERS THEY WILL DO THAT UNTIL THEY START CALISING & TOUGHIN UP,ALSO MAKE SURE HE WASHES HIS HANDS AFTER EVERY PRACTICE AS NOT TO GET INFECTED, PLUS ITS A GOOD HABIT, I STILL DO AFTER MANY YEARS...HOPE THIS HELPS!!
