Epiphone Dot Studio Review
Epiphone dot studio review
In this material, I shall review the Epiphone Dot Studio semi-hollow electric guitar. If you're on a budget, and don't want to pay for an expensive Gibson, this may be a good alternative. It only costs about 300 bucks so beginners and students would be interested in this as well. If you're looking for a low-priced guitar with a vintage vibe, check out the Epiphone Dot Studio semi-hollow.

So what are the features of this guitar? They include laminated maple top, back, and sides, rosewood fretboard, stopbar tailpiece, set maple neck, semi-hollow construction, and vintage Alnico V plus pickups. It has a scale length of 24 3/4 inches, and a nut width of 1 17/25 inches.
It's all about how much you're willing to pay. But for 300 dollars, this is not a bad guitar at all. I have been playing this guitar for a few months and I just love it. It has great action and the sound quality is great. I like the Jazz sounds it can produce. It plays well whether in overdrive or clean. You can play some really hot blues and rock when overdriven, as well as some thick clean Jazz tones. In other words it's great for a heavy distorted sound as well as a soft acoustic sound.
Next in this Epiphone Dot Studio review I want to talk about a few of my disappointments. I find that the finish could have been a lot better, especially around the F holes. I also find that it feedbacks pretty easily. But this can be easily fixed by using a longer cable. In my opinion, the pickups sound good enough. But I guess it's up to you if you want to replace them with better ones. What I don't like are the tuners. They suck. It could have been a much better guitar if it came with two tone and two volume knobs. But I guess you're only paying 300 bucks so you can't expect everything to be perfect.
All in all, the Epiphone Dot Studio Semi-Hollow electric guitar is great for the price, and what a great way to save money.
