Epiphone Les Paul Special II ReviewFirst off, this guitar ROCKS!!! And if you have a Special II that is buzzing like the dude's review on the main page....it's probably because you bought a bad guitar w/o checking it out first, or you're getting paid nicely to say that...I've had a les Paul custom, PRS, Joe Satch Ibanez, an SG standard, at one time or another....Got sick of buying expensive guitars, and I'll tell you, that the Special II sounds just as good as anything I've played, w/o bleeding you dry of money....You want to really kick @$$, then throw in some Seymour Duncan Alnico V's (high output-powerful)at the bridge (sustaining-searing riffs/leads), and Alnico Pearly gates for warmth/(Texas bluesy balls/Classic rock tone)at the neck, and a switch... to get your tone by putting a knob or selector switch for about $300 more dollars, and you got a dirt cheap guitar that'll cut the heads off any other Les Paul out there....and plus, you don't get scoliosis (heavy), and you didn't pay an arm and a leg for a guitar you have to worry about getting stolen, or busted...but it will sink all the competition to the bottom....and give you a tone that rivals Angus Young or Jerry Cantrell....Don't listen to the guitar snobs....this guitar is more than exceptional, especially for the price, and with a bit of an upgrade on the tuners and pickups, man you'll cause a revolution riot.....No B.S.....
NON-Guitar snob
