Epiphone Les Paul Standard plus review

Let's take a look at the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus electric guitar. There are quite a few finishes available to suit your personal taste. These include vintage sunburst, wine red, honey burst, heritage cherry sunburst, and translucent blue. Depending on what model you're getting, the price can vary between 500 bucks and 550.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard plus review

Epiphone Les Paul Standard plus So what are the features of this Epiphone electric guitar? Well the guitar comes with 2 humbucker pickups, chrome hardware, flame maple top, mahogany/alder body, rosewood/trapezoid fingerboard, mahogany neck, and is 24.75 inches long. This guitar was designed with the arched top and fast neck of top of the line Les Pauls. And if you're into Rock and Roll, a Les Paul may be just what you need.

Next in our Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus review we shall talk about sound. I tried this guitar on a Marshall amp as well as a Washburn and it sounded great! If you're looking for that famous "Les Paul" sound, this is it. It has some fat lows but I found the highs to be much brighter than a Gibson. I tried playing classic rock, rock and roll, punk and heavy metal on it and was very impressed. This guitar delivers! My only disappointment when it came to sound was the feedback that you get at high gain. But don't let that discourage you from buying an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus because the only time this unwanted noise occurs is at high gain. Otherwise it's not an issue at all.

Although the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus is a little pricey, I still think that it is worth every penny you spend for it. It's beautiful and it plays very well. It also costs a fraction of the cost of a Gibson, so if you're looking to save money, this may just be the way to go.

All in all, a pretty good electric guitar. The sound is of course not as good as a Gibson Les Paul, but still very good.
