Epiphone Les Paul Ultra review
This is where I review Epiphone's Les Paul Ultra electric guitar. The guitar looks just like a Les Paul Standard at first glance, but it has hollow cavities that make it lighter and more acoustic sounding than the Les Paul Standard. The guitar has a belly-contour on the back and therefore comfortably hugs the player's body. The Epiphone Les PaulUltra has a slightly narrower nut and the satin-finish neck is very fast. If you're looking for an Ultra friendly guitar, this is it.
You can buy this classic faded cherry finish electric guitar with gold-plated hardware for about $500 bucks online. Don't want to spend lots of money on a Gibson? Epiphone is always a great way to save money.
The Epiphone Les Paul Ultra electric guitar features a mahogany body, choice maple top, set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays, 2 alnico classic pickups, gold hardware, grover tuners, and a tune-o-matic stopbar tailpiece. It's pretty light, weighing about 5.5 to 6 pounds.
I think this guitar is one of the best you can purchase for the price. Better than some of the Gibsons I've played and I'm not sure why Gibson would allow Epiphone to put out a guitar like this. As far as I'm concerned the Ultra is as good as a Gibson for the fraction of the cost. If you're thinking of getting this guitar go right ahead. I don't think you would be disappointed.
If you want a guitar that is light and fits your body great because of its amazing contour, you've found it. Do you want a guitar with full, rich, mellow tone to biting crunch and metal? Look no further. I'm very excited about the Gibson Les Paul Ultra and highly recommend it. If you were to do any changes the only thing might be the pickups.
You won't regret buying this axe. But it before the price goes up. I hope this review brings out the point that I am in love with the Ultra.
