Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul Review
Epiphone Zakk Wylde les paul review
This is where I review the Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul Custom electric guitar Bulls-Eye. This guitar sells for about 800 bucks online. Its features include maple top, mahogany back, 2 USA EMG HZ H4 pickups, gold hardware, hard maple set neck with rosewood fretboard, neck joint set at 16th fret, a 24-3/4 inch scale, and a 1-11/16 inch nut width. The guitar also includes Zakk's signature bull's-eye paint job.
Epiphone Zakk Wylde les paul review
I find this guitar to be well put together. I have played it for a few months now and have had few problems with it. I like the way the wood reflects light like a mirror. The paint job is awesome and the gold hardware really sets it off. Perhaps the only minor problem I have had with the Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul electric guitar is the fact that the rhythm and treble switch gets in my way when I try to tap. I would also have preferred a thinner neck.
Next in this Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul review, we shall take a look at sound. You can get some really amazing sounds out of this guitar. Great for gigs! It can scream even with the EMG-HZ that it comes with, and will of course do much better if I were to add some ZW-EMGs to it. But for now I will stick to what it came with.
Epiphone Zakk Wylde les paul review
I have played some really nice clean jazz, blues, 80's and 90's music on the Epiphone Zakk Wylde Les Paul. It is expressive, whether you're playing distortion sounds or clean sounds. An extremely versatile electric guitar. It has excellent sustain as well. The neck is amazing and the grover tuners are superb.
This is a phenomenal guitar for the money. In my opinion, Epiphone did a very good job with this model. If you do not want to spend money for a more expensive Gibson, consider this one. It may just exceed your expectations.
