ESP LTD EC1000 Review

ESP LTD EC1000 Review

In this review we shall take a look at the ESP LTD EC1000 Deluxe Series electric guitar. I absolutely love this guitar. It sells for either (about) $799.00 or $839.00. It all depends on the specific one you choose. There are quite a few finishes to choose from.

For about $839 you can get finishes like see-thru-black cherry with abalone inlays, flame maple see thru blue, and quilted maple see-thru green.

Then for $799, there's snow white, black with abalone inlays, vintage black (EC-1000VB), and amber sunburst with abalone inlays and Seymour Duncan Pickups. For an even lower price, some stores sell blemish models.

ESP LTD EC1000 Electric Guitar I bought the vintage black model two years ago and have never been disappointed. In fact I'm still absolutely thrilled. Not only is it beautiful but the EMG 81-60s are amazing. I like the action of the guitar. It sounds great even through my cheap fender amp that I use at home for practice. When played through a Marshall JVM410H/1960A, the sound is overwhelming. Couldn't ask for a better sound.

Features of the ESP LTD EC 1000 include genuine EMG 81/60 pickups (Seymour Duncan JB/59s on amber sunburst model), Abalone flags plus the model name at the 12th fret, TonePros locking bridge, Rosewood fretboard, 24-3/4" set neck and a Mahogany neck.

ESP LTD EC1000 Review

This is by far one of the best guitars one can get for below $1000. After buying the ESP LTD EC1000 and playing it for a short while, I felt like I had ripped off the store I bought it from. This guitar could have been easily sold for much more than it is currently being sold for.

I like the fact that the ESP LTD EC 1000 electric guitar is all mahogany, instead of having a maple top. This results in more of a thick sound, because it produces good lows and low mids.

This electric guitar sounds great whether you are playing clean or heavily distorted. It has a really fast neck as well.

When looking for the perfect blend of sound, comfort and playability for under 1000 bucks, this is it.
