Fender American Vintage 62 Stratocaster Review
Fender American Vintage 62 stratocaster review
Interested in the Vintage '62 stratocaster? Here's my review of the instrument. Firstly, there are various options available including 3-color sunburst, olympic white, ocean turqoise, and black. Last time I checked, the 3-color sunburst was selling for $1,434.95, and the others for $1,399.85. That was at a leading online musical equipment retailer.
Let's take a look at the features of the Fender American Vintage 62 stratocaster. This electric guitar comes with a number of unique finishes including tinted maple neck, nitro-cellulose lacquer finish, and aged plastic parts.

Other features include a comfort contoured alder body, rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, 3-position blade picking switch, and Fender/Gotoh vintage machine heads. It comes with 3 "new" American vintage strat single coil pickups, and "original" vintage synchronized tremolo. The Fender American Vintage Stratocaster has 21 vintage frets, master volume control, neck tone control, and, mid tone control.
Do you want the classic sound of a 60's strat? This is it. It has a crisp, clean tone, and the chording and intonation is simply beautiful. This guitar has great action and feel. I played some 50's and 60's rock and roll on this instrument and was very pleased with the sound. Great for jazz, country, rock and blues as well.
I like the balance of the pickups. It helps you achieve that desired sound. Brilliance, as well as a smooth and round tone.
My finish of choice is sunburst. The guitar has nice curves and the wood grain looks great. It is solidly constructed and perfect for touring or when you're on the road.
Apart from playing this guitar myself, I have read several positive reviews on the Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster. It could probably cost a little less. But considering the competition from other companies, it's not that bad.
