Gibson Firebird Studio Review: personal impressions
I like this guitar. In my opinion, it sounds somewhere between a Gibson and a Les Paul. I like the airy sound of its bridge pickup - similar to that of a '57. And for the price, I think this guitar is worth it. The one I have access to is white with chrome hardware, and the finish is simply beautiful. One feature that really stands out is the two tone knobs on which you can tweak the dynamics. You get a really "killer" sound by doing that. I also love the action of the Gibson Firebird studio electric guitar.
Just make sure this guitar is right for you before buying. For example, ensure that the neck width fits your hand, or else the guitar will keep you back. This guitar has a wide neck! If you have small hands then the Gibson Firebird guitar may not meet your needs. I guess it's about your preferences as well, since some people prefer fatter necks.
Apart from trying out the Firebird Studio guitar myself, I've read several favorable reviews about it. For less than $1200, I'd say this guitar is worth every penny. I guess, it's up to you to decide for yourself. Be sure to read customer reviews and compare other models in its class before spending your money.
