Gibson Les Paul Faded double cutaway review.

Gibson Les Paul Faded double cutaway review.

In this material I shall review the Les Paul Faded double cutaway electric guitar. Last time I checked it was available for about $769.99 at a leading online musical instrument retailer. First and foremost I'd like to say that I really like this electric guitar. Its features include a honduras mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, mahogany set neck, P90 pickups, and a nitrocellulose laquer finish. Looking for a guitar that has great looks? This is it.

Gibson Les Paul Faded double cutaway

Gibson guitars are known for sustain, playability, and high quality. Well the Gibson Les Paul Faded double cutaway doesn't disappoint in that regard. While playing the guitar I realized that it had a little weight to it, but it's not that bad and won't wreck your shoulders. A really cool guitar.

I deliberately plugged the Gibson Les Paul Faded double cutaway electric guitar into a 15w amplifier to make it work hard and I must say that I was fully impressed at how the P90 pickups screamed with attitude. I tried it on clean settings and while the sound was full and thick, it wasn't muddy at all. I tried it on lead channel and was very pleased. I really liked the crisp sound, clarity and power of the P90 pickups. Then I tried it on a more powerful amplifier and needless to say I fell more deeply in love with the instrument.

If your priority is great sound, forget about more expensive American made Gibsons. Many of them are more expensive only because of the finish. You may want to sacrifice finish at the expense of a guitar you'll cherish.

Apart from playing this Gibson electric guitar myself, I've read lots of exciting reviews about it online. Therefore I have to recommend it. If you're thinking of getting this guitar I don't see why not. It's worth every cent.
