guitar - g string stuck in bridge

so my g-string got stuck in the bridge of my electric, when i was trying to replace my strings. ive tried everything to get it out but i cant. so some advice would help. alot.

I managed to fix this problem by actually knocking the string out using a hammer and nail.

I have 5 strings jammed hard and tried the nail, now have a nail jammed as well...
I'm wondering if it is the size of the bridge string retainer or whatever it is called...Dont want to get a new bridge and have the same problem

You can use a paper clip (that is unwound) and poke it thru, that works.
Or you can take it in and get it done by someone who knows what they are doing

get one out using a pipe cleaner and use the thikest string to get the rest outits like a pipecleaner but a lot better

Use a wooden toothpick - put it in the hole and bash it with something - I used an empty coke can !

For the 1st 3 strings (i.e e B G) u can use a toothpick and the remaining u can use a long needle or a safety pin
