Guitar Tuner - Fender Stratocaster

I have a Fender Stratocaster guitar pack. It came with a tuner. The tuner will light up blue when the certain string is tuned. When it lands on blue just mere seconds later the
light red will also light up. How do i fix my problem?

Sounds like their new strings and they need to be stretched.. as soon as you let go of your tuning knob it drops to flat red i take it, typical for new strings, my suggestion is to tune them all close then starting with the low (E)pull the string upwards by the neck pickup(OLD GUITARIST TRICK)!! do this several times & keep re-tuning until you can stretch it & it still stays in tune, then (A)&(D)etc. be patient it takes a while but it will save you a lot of re-tuning in the long run, i usually go thru this 2 or 3 times until it just won't go out of tune & i do a lot of string bending, also be careful on the 3 higher strings their more delicate & will break if you pull them to aggressivly, another suggestion is to buy a higher quality tuner, the ones that come in those guitar/amp packs are junk (sorry)christmas is coming ask for a BOSS FLOOR PEDAL TUNER (WHITE)$99.00 & a x-tra guitar cord to run to the amp... I Have had one for years very rugged & dependable with very bright led don't know what i would do without it,hope this helps!!! Keith P. V.T.
