selling?

Are you asking because you are interested to sell this guitar? It should not have nylon strings. I might be interested to purchase it from you, although it is quite old.

To the frenchman

These were made between 1984 and 1987 in the U.S.A. In good shape it's worth about $4-500 USD

wrong

They were made with nylon strings. I have a stock standard mirage deluxe classic. Its an electric nylon string. Previous poster is completely wrong.

If it has a classical style bridge, and the wide neck, its a nylon string.

I have one also

Yes indeed it is a classic nylon electric solid body and I use it for classical music only. It is a beautiful hand made instrument with SN SG1260 (the first two letters - if they are letters are blurred so I may be wrong on those). Given the fabulous craftsmanship I wonder why the instrument is priced at only $4-500. In any case I would never sell it.

Reading more about this guitar I realize that the SN must be 861260 )not SG1260 as I thought above. I recently cleaned the electrical contacts with Deoxit Fader F5 and this worked very well removing the horrific static that builds in older instruments. The neck is classical width and intended for classical style. I use standard acoustic classical strings and they are indeed attached as in any classical guitar. I imagine that the guitar could be strung with steel but I would never desecrate this baby.

I too have a natural colour one.(In the UK)
It is very beautiful.
Tho I don't use it enough theses days, I should have it on display, just to look at!
