Harmony Bass GuitarsIt's possible to buy new Harmony bass guitars on eBay for around $100. These are a solid body type. The vintage hollow body basses are more likely to go for $300 and up. They have f-holes and a Spanish look that is very interesting. Some of the older basses have very flimsy tuning pegs, however. Look for the H-22 model if you are interested in one of these old basses. Among Harmony basses, the H-25 and the H-27 were some of the best. They featured sturdier hardware than the H-22. They were balanced more efficiently, too, and still make a great bass guitar for playing jazz music. The H-25 was the solid body version, and the H-27 was the hollow body style. The color was often a flame maple finish. Pick guards were either white, black, or non-existent. They featured a single split pick up. The H-65N is a solid body member of the line of Harmony bass guitars. Harmony guitars have been around since the turn of the 20th century, and have recently been reissued as vintage-style guitars. Harmony has sold more guitars than any other company, with some going by brand names such as Kay, Vogue, and others.
