Hofner bass info.

I have an original Hofner violin 'Beatle Bass' that I've
had for years. It's in good shape, with all the cracks in the finish to show that it's old. The sunburst finish is
very dark. The pick-ups are the staple and screw types, but
they have 'SUPER' embossed on them. The control plate is
a three-piece, white/black/white, but the small piece at the joint of the neck where the strap button is is Mother-of-Pearl.
The neck is great, the binding is still attached, and it's LOUD! Run it through a 300 watt amp with two 15's, I'll rattle yer teeth! All the switches work the way they're supposed to.
The case is black, lined in red, and it's form-fitted.
There is a small white ribbon on the inside of the top,
that has 'Instrumentos De Musica' on the left, 'GARRIDO'
in the middle, 'Valverde, 4 Madrid' on the right.
I can't find a serial number or any other information on the bass itself, but I'd like to find out what year it was made and a close approximate value,if any.
I can tell you it's a great playing, great sounding bass
and, of all the basses I have, Ricks and Fenders, it's my
favorite.
Whatever you can tell me, I'd sure appreciate it.
Thank you,
