Pink Bass Guitars

Girl rockers like pink bass guitars. They can be a little bit hard to find, however. Pink guitars are easier to find, especially since colored musical instruments are often being imported from Asia these days. Often the guitars designed for beginning players are available in a choice of colors that include pink. Basses are a little less common in this color.

There are some companies, however, which make bass guitars and occasionally produce one in a bright feminine shade of pink. pink bass guitars are no different to play than one of any other color, of course. The pink is simply desired to make the band look good. ESP has produced a good quality bass guitar in pink.

Schecter is a company that has also produced pink basses. Their 1989 model of jazz bass was available in pink. Mark Hoppus is a punk rocker who is known for playing a pink jazz bass. He has made it acceptable for the fellows to play a pink bass just like the girls would like to. The signature bass he endorsed was made by Fender.

Pink bass guitars by Fender and endorsed by Mark Hoppus were not produced for very long and are very definitely collector's items now. They feature Hoppus' custom electronic features and have a great sound. "One of the top basses ever produced by Fender" is how this bass is advertised. The bass guitar is shell pink colored with a pearlescent pick guard.

These somewhat rare basses are designed for punk or "blink" music. They require a good amp for best results, of course, and are not designed for slapping or other types of music. They are a mix of a Precision bass and a jazz bass. In addition to pink, it was also produced in baby blue and seafoam green. These are feminine colors meant to be a little shocking when played by a fellow.
