What songs can you play on electric guitar?

i am going to buy an electric guitar and i dont know what songs and what types of songs can i play with an electric guitar
plz help me

or you can play better songs on acoustic guitar

YOU YOURSELF NEED TO SEARCH,ASK YOURSELF FIRST WHAT KIND OF MUSIC INTEREST ME THE MOST, DO YOU LIKE TO ROCK OR ARE YOU MORE LAID BACK TYPE..IF YOU LIKE ROCK THEN AN ELECTRICS THE CHOICE OF MOST MUSICIANS & IF YOUR MELLOW AN ACOUSTIC SOUNDS BEST IN MY OPINION, ITS ALL A MATTER OF PREFERENCE IM SURE YOU'LL FIND IT SOME WHERE SOME HOW,.GOOD LUCK!! Hi,
I started off with an electric, mostly because I got it free. Now I think it's better to get an electric because you can get pretty much the same sound as an acoustic, although not as loud or clear and a bit more muted, from an electric and plus you can plug it into an amp for electric style playing.

Personally I found electric guitars easier to learn on because it's much smaller body to hold, and the strings were easier to press than an acoustic. Mind you I've only been on two-three acoustic guitars.

I wouldn't mind owning an acoustic as well money being no object. Hope that helps
